"Volunteer for Bangladesh (VBD)" is a youth initiative of JAAGO Foundation, founded in 2011 with backing from the U.S Embassy in Bangladesh. Its core mission is to inspire and empower young individuals in Bangladesh to volunteer and cultivate leadership abilities, to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
VBD values diversity, equity, inclusion, and focuses on community-driven solutions and sustainable development.

 



MISSIONS & VISSIONS of VBD :

Empowering and enabling volunteerism in Bangladesh to promote national development by reallocating resources and skills to support each young person's development and self-reliance.The Sustainable Development Goals framework of the United Nations is linked to the pillars of VBD
A vast array of initiatives are part of Volunteer for Bangladesh's field activity, many of which are intended to address different social concerns and community needs. The following are a few instances of fieldwork the organization has completed:
  • Offering impoverished children in remote areas assistance with their schooling.
  • Planning health fairs and education initiatives in isolated communities.
  • Organizing campaigns to grow trees and clean up the environment.
  • Providing underprivileged populations with livelihood support and skill training.
  • Supporting relief operations in the event of natural disasters.

Volunteer for Bangladesh hopes to improve people's lives and communities through these fieldwork projects.

The best feature of VBD is its exceptional organization. First you will start as a general member and then, you will advance to a more senior role. VBD has its own set of laws, much like a country has a constitution. VBD always complies with and operates under by laws.
