‘Setting Sail on Our Maiden Voyage: First Adventure with Friends’
Greetings and welcome to my
adventure blog, where I hope you will come along on exciting adventures and
life-changing experiences. For me, adventure is a way of life, not simply a
hobby. I love to push the cover of what's possible and always look for new
experiences, whether adventurous outdoor expeditions or unplanned road
vacations. I'll tell tales of one of my adventures here, from the
heart-pounding peaks to the surprising detours encountered. As we travel the
world together, one adventure at a time, fasten your seatbelt and get ready for
an exciting ride. Today, I'm
going to share about my first trip to the stunning city of Chittagong.
One day, I was at a
friend’s house, and we were just gossiping with one another. Suddenly, one of
my friends proposed that we visit Chittagong. Everyone was quite enthusiastic
and began organizing the trip right away. I knew in the back of my mind,
though, that my conservative parents wouldn't let me. To reassure my friends, I
opted to give my mother a call, and to my surprise, she granted me permission
for the trip. Yet, despite this positive turn of events, I couldn't shake off a
lingering sense of doubt, feeling somewhat skeptical that it was all too good
to be true. Then came the day of the trip. The day was gloomy and wet, with a
mild breeze and an amazing scent in the air. Since it was raining heavily, we
thought the trip was going to be canceled. We all agreed to get together at my
house to make plans. After
engaging in lively discussion for an hour, we collectively agreed to embrace
freedom and tackle whatever adventures crossed our path. With our decision
made, we embarked on our first journey together.
Our Adventure Begins!!!
We reached our destination at
exactly 5 am. (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/dZbzNVpAuKY).
Since it was also my first time doing so, I was excited. After our
exhilarating water adventure, we decided to travel to Chittagong City to have
some much-needed food.
We all fell asleep during the two-and-a-half hours it took to get there. We chose to eat breakfast at a nearby restaurant after spotting it. Next, we made plans to go to the boat club in Chittagong.
It was a lovely location with plenty of boats, and one of the ship owners was gracious enough to let us take a tour inside one of the ships. After touring the entire ship, we decided to take some photos. We were taking pictures and documenting memories when we realized that lunchtime had sneaked up on us. We all decided to go to a well-known Mezbani restaurant since we knew that Chittagong is known for its Mezbani food. We started eating as soon as the food was delivered, loving every bite of what ended up being one of the most delicious plates of food I've ever had.
To end the day, we decided to visit the famous ‘Potenga’ sea beach and watch the sunset. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqcQZDPwZzE) There, we watched in wonder as the sun set and brilliant colors filled the sky. With cameras in hand, we immortalized the moment in photographs, capturing memories to cherish forever.
I couldn't resist picking up some rocks from the beach, a simple yet
meaningful token of this unforgettable adventure—I've always had a fondness for
collecting them. In the blink of an eye, our trip came to an end. It was
undeniably one of the most remarkable journeys of my life, and I eagerly
anticipate embarking on more adventures with these cherished friends soon.
